So…what actually is Rebirthing?
Well, one thing it’s not is therapy. We don’t do therapy on people at all. This is a spiritual
purification process. In “The Course in Miracles” it says about therapy: “How can you get the
light when you’re analyzing the darkness?” So, we’re not doing any analysis. We’re pulling
the light into the body and pushing out the darkness. It’s a fantastic and magical process.
I first heard about Rebirthing when I was the owner of a Health Food Store in Sandy Springs.
A customer came in and began talking about it in such a positive way that I made an
appointment right there on the spot with her daughter for my first session. Each Breathing
Session lasts for about an hour. Just like EFT – the Breath moves the energy in the body.
Many lives have been transformed by the Rebirthing Process. The breath is given to us by
God to experience Life. For me – Breathing allows me to feel the Presence of God in a way I
wasn’t aware of before. Whenever I breathe I always get more in touch with this invisible
power. So when I discovered EFT – it felt like the right and perfect companion to join with
Rebirthing.
I am now a trained Breath Worker and have been practicing this Breathing Technique for over
15 years. You can trace Core Issues back to the birth process. Your conception, gestation
and birth experience create patterns in your life and all of your relationships. Throughout my
life I never felt a close bond with my mother. During one of my Rebirthing sessions I had a
vivid memory of when I was still in the womb and my mother tried to abort me. During this
session, it all became clear why I never felt totally bonded with my mom.
Rebirthing or Conscious Breathing is a simple breathing process done in a certain way. It’s
done in the upper chest – not like yoga breathing in the stomach. You pull on the inhale and
relax on the exhale, and it has to be in a circular, smooth rhythm with no holding at the top
and no holding at the bottom or it stops the energy. This is conscious, connected breathing.
You’re breathing in a circle and the circle causes the energy to accumulate in the body. Then
the energy has an innate intelligence and it goes exactly to the part of the body that’s stuck
which needs a release. Then the body starts tingling and vibrating, which means that it’s
working and new energy is coming in. So, it’s also a rejuvenation process. It’s a spiritual
purification process that I consider very sacred.
There are many other benefits to making breathing deeply a part of your daily routine. They
include improving your immune system, flushing out those unwanted toxins, makes your
blood pressure rock steady, helps you sleep deeply like a baby, adds more oxygen in your
body which increases your energy, and increases blood circulation. The list of benefits goes
on and on . . .
